Design of external water supply networks
The design of external pipelines solves the following issues:
- efficiency of water supply;
- source of water supply, boundaries of sanitary protection zone;
- hydraulic calculation of water supply;
The water supply system project can be developed in two stages - project documentation (P) and working documentation (P), or in one stage - working project (RP). Usually simple water pipelines and separate nodes of waterworks are designed in one stage.
The task of designing any project is usually made by the customer with the direct involvement of the project organization.
The design of large and complex water supply systems, which can be attributed to district or city water systems, begins with the development of a water supply scheme and hydraulic calculation.
In some complex cases, the design is preceded by the development of a feasibility study. Feasibility study (feasibility study) in the necessary cases prove:
- choice of water source;
- place of water intake and type of water intake structure;
- location of water treatment facilities;
- the basic technological scheme of water purification and composition of treatment facilities;
- the scheme of water supply from the main structures to the city water supply network, the number and diameter of pipes;
Large objects can be divided into several queues or launches.
The estimated cost of construction of structures by aggregated indicators, technical and economic indicators, the primary volume of construction are determined.
The work project (WP) of external water supply networks (or feasibility studies) consists of:
- an explanatory note;
- the master plan;
- working drawings of nodes, wells, connections with other networks, etc.
- electrical parts (if required);
- organization of construction;
- estimates.
- environmental impact assessments;
- environmental impact assessments (if covered by ATS law)
The efficiency of the water supply system depends on many factors and is determined in the design process as a result of a complex solution of a number of private problems.
