Relaying - pipeline clearance in Ukraine

The main advantage of the method is low price, in comparison with other methods, repair of the pipeline with minimal technical difficulties and the possibility of carrying out in conditions of dense urban development.

A new pipe of a smaller diameter is pulled by a winch into an old pipe. The disadvantage of this method can be the fact that the diameter of the pipeline being restored is reduced, but its carrying capacity often does not decrease due to the low hydraulic resistance of the polyethylene pipe.

• The risk of damage to existing communications is much less than with open methods.
