Main varieties

PE fittings are divided into several types.:

• cast. Made by casting with further mechanical grinding. They have increased wear resistance due to the use of low pressure polyethylene. Parts can last for a long time, while ensuring smooth operation. Resistant to aggressive chemicals. They do not oxidize, do not give in to corrosion and do not change their diameter in case of accumulation of blockages. Used for the installation of pressure pipelines of polyethylene. Molded fittings made of PE have a different shape and diameter. They are attached to the pipes by welding, which guarantees complete tightness and eliminates the possibility of leakage. Cast parts are often used for the installation of pipes of closed gas pipelines and water pipes, which are used to supply drinking water;
• welded. Used to connect pipes in pressure sewage and water supply. Their main advantages are – cost-effectiveness, reliability and ease of operation, the ability to manufacture non-standard bends of various degrees (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 35, 40, etc.), the production of various transitions and reduction tees manufactured by butt welding.  Welded one-piece designs minimize the use of sealing elements;
• compression. This type of fitting is used to connect polyethylene pipes of small diameter. The main areas of use include – irrigation and spraying system, distribution of drinking water. Compression fittings are sturdy and do not require perfect alignment of pipes during installation..

Polyethylene provides electrochemical and mechanical reliability of finished parts. PE bends (polyethylene bends) protect water mains from moisture penetration, and prevent damage when landing on the foundation. They allow you to mount pipes with different ramifications and turns. Polyethylene bushings provide high tightness of the joint without the use of specialized equipment and expensive equipment. Shaped parts are mainly used for the installation of complex engineering communications.

There are two ways to connect pipes and fittings: detachable and one-piece. In the first case for the installation does not require any additional tools. To disassemble the connection does not need to wait for the expiration of life. This can be done at any time without any special effort. Non-detachable method is performed by butt or electrofusion (thermistor) welding. This type of connection cannot be disconnected.
