Hydrodynamic cleaning of pipes
Considering the modern rhythm of life and the disappointing state of urban communications, quite often emergencies arise in the operation of water supply and drainage networks of enterprises or houses. Hydrodynamic cleaning is a fairly new method, but gradually occupies a leading position among other methods. During the operation of a hydrodynamic installation, various types of deposits are destroyed and they are simultaneously removed from the pipe with the help of water jets, which are supplied by the installation with special nozzles for different types of blockages.
Hydrodynamic cleaning method
The company "ViK" uses the most modern equipment for cleaning external sewer systems. The principle of operation is based on reactive power. The working tool is a water jet, which is supplied under high pressure through a hydrodynamic nozzle.

Hydraulic head under the influence of the reactive power of water is directed along the pipe to a maximum length of 100 m. After passing through the pipe, with the help of a winch, it returns back, carrying out repeated cleaning. When moving back through the pipe, the nozzle pushes out in front of it pollution of any density.
At the same time, due to the special position of the nozzles, an air flow is created in the pipe, drying its internal surface. The installation is controlled by an operator who regulates the speed of the head and the pressure of the high-speed jet. Depending on the problem that needs to be solved, the operator has the opportunity to choose one of the programs specifically designed for specific pollutants.
Purpose:
- cleaning pipelines, heat exchangers, tanks for various purposes;
- flushing of compressor tubes in the oil and gas industry;
- removal of mercury, mineral coatings, bitumen and the like from solid surfaces.
Advantages of hydrodynamic cleaning:
- the fastest possible removal of garbage and food waste, fat deposits, bitumen, fuel oil and oil, mineral coatings, sand, stones, wood and roots, rust and other types of pollution;
- the most effective restoration of throughput of pipelines;
- the ability to clean hard-to-reach areas;
- high performance, technological simplicity and cost reduction;
- environmental friendliness and safety for the environment
Regularly carrying out hydrodynamic cleaning of pipes, it is possible to negate the risk of a build-up of deposits in the pipe.
